The Hero’s Guide to Saving Your Kingdom

Basic Info:

Written by Christopher Healy. Illustrated by Todd Harris. Published by HarperCollins in 2012.

Book Review:

This clever books tells the story about what happened after happily ever after. As it turns out, it wasn’t so happy after all. The princesses kicked the princes out of their castles and now they’re left all on their own! Oh, and they have names: Prince Liam, Prince Frederic, Prince Duncan, Prince Gustav, or as you knew them, Prince Charming. After being cast out on their own, they discover a plot to endanger their kingdoms and now it’s up to them to save the day! This unique perspective tells the part of the story no one ever considered and is perfect for those kids who are sick of all those princesses in fairytales!
