Ninja Red Riding Hood

Basic Info:

Written by Corey Rosen Schwartz. Illustrated by Dan Santat. Published the Penguin Group in 2014.

Book Review:

In this adorable fractured fairytale, the big bad wolf just can’t catch a break ever since the three little pigs have been teaching everyone ninja skills. Finally, the wolf was able to take some ninja classes himself and is ready to test out his new skills! His target? An adorable little girl on the way to her granny’s house – she’ll be an easy win. Or so he thought, turns out Little Red has something else in mind. This is yet another girl-power fairytale that is sure to keep all of your elementary-aged children hooked until the very last page.
